Job Title: Deputy Continuing Airworthiness Manager / ARC Signatory

Reporting to: Continuing Airworthiness Manager

Description:

The Deputy Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM) supports the CAMO Post Holder by overseeing Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) duties at Biggin Hill Airport and other sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee continuing airworthiness activities as defined in the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME).
  • Ensure compliance with Part-CAMO, IOM & OTAR regulations and company procedures.
  • Provide support across all CAMO sites, including Liskeard and Boscombe Down.
  • Liaise with Operations to support the Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
  • Develop and review Aircraft Maintenance Programmes (AMP) and approve variations.
  • Conduct airworthiness reviews for ARC recommendation, issuance, or extension.
  • Support Certificates of Airworthiness (CoA), Export CoA, and Permit to Fly processes.
  • Review and implement actions for Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and modifications.
  • Address audit findings and ensure CAMO personnel qualifications remain current.
  • Prepare reports to support fleet management for operators.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Part CAMO, Part 145, and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • Experience with Mandatory Occurrence Reporting (MORs) and quality audits.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Aerotrac and related CAMO software.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications:

  • Part 66 licensed engineer or aeronautical degree with 5+ years in airworthiness management or 10+ years related experience.
  • ARC signatory eligibility.
  • DBS and SC clearance eligibility.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Agusta, Airbus, or Bell fleet documentation.
  • Completed Part CAMO/Part 145 and Human Factors training.

Additional Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
