Deputy Continuing Airworthiness Manager / ARC Signatory
Reporting to: Continuing Airworthiness Manager
Description:
Act as Deputy to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAMO Post Holder), overseeing CAMO activities primarily at Biggin Hill Airport and across all sites.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the CAM in meeting Part-CAMO, IOM, and OTAR requirements.
- Oversee the fleet's continuing airworthiness activities as per CAME procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all legislative and company procedures.
- Perform airworthiness reviews for ARC recommendation/issue/extension.
- Support AMP development and approvals for variations.
- Review airworthiness data, including ADs, SBs, and modifications.
- Respond to audit findings and ensure CAMO staff qualifications.
- Liaise with Operations and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance.
- Oversee CAMO team support across all sites.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong understanding of Part CAMO, Part 145, and SMS.
- Experience with MORs, Safety Management Systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Proactive with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Aerotrac.
Education & Qualifications:
- Part 66 licensed engineer or relevant aeronautical degree with 5+ years in continuing airworthiness or 10+ years of related experience.
- Eligible as ARC Signatory.
Additional Requirements:
- DBS and SC clearance eligibility.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with CAMO management software and aircraft fleet technical documentation.
- Completed Part CAMO/Part 145 training and General Familiarisation Courses.
