A leading precision engineering company in Ayrshire is looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join their growing team. The business supplies high-quality, safety-critical components to the Oil & Gas industry and is known for its clean, well-organised machine shop and strong team culture.

Location: Ayrshire
Rate: From £19.26 per hour + 30% shift allowance + Bonus
Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role
- Program, set, and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
- Produce low-volume, high-precision components to tight tolerances (typically 0.025mm or better)
- Work with materials such as steel, stainless steel, Duplex, and high-temp alloys
- Read and interpret technical engineering drawings
- Use measuring equipment to carry out in-process inspection
- Communicate with production and engineering teams
- Support continuous improvement and perform basic maintenance
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a CNC Turner (Fanuc)
- Confident programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes
- Experience with tight tolerances and exotic materials
- Background in Oil & Gas or similar high-integrity sectors preferred
- Quality-driven and reliable, with a proactive mindset
Package
- From £19.26/hour (negotiable depending on experience)
- Quarterly bonus scheme (recently over £750 per person)
- 2-week rotating shifts (Day & Backshift)
- 30 days holiday including Christmas shutdown
