Application Engineer

About the Company:

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to support customer projects and deliver tailored power generation solutions. This is a customer-facing role based in the Midlands, requiring a mix of technical expertise and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quotes and tender documents for industrial generators and related solutions
• Design, test, and implement generator applications to meet specific client requirements
• Provide technical support to clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Work closely with the Sales and Technical teams to ensure customer expectations are met
• Offer hands-on expertise and ensure solutions are delivered on time and as promised

Requirements:

• HNC/HND in Electrical, Mechanical or similar Engineering discipline (preferred)
• Strong experience in the power generation industry, especially with industrial generators
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a customer-facing environment
• Ability to work independently and travel within the Midlands area
