Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm (40 hours per week)

The Sawyer will be responsible for operating cutting machinery, preparing materials, carrying out quality checks and supporting the efficient operation of products. Working as part of a collaborative team, the successful candidate will play an instrumental role within the warehouse operations.

  • Operate and assist with the setup of panel saws, wall saws, and CNC cutting equipment
  • Read and interpret cutting lists, job cards, and production orders
  • Load, secure, and process materials safely and accurately
  • Measure and inspect finished products using tapes, vernier callipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment
  • Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet customer and company standards
  • Safely handle materials and maintain an organised warehouse and production area
  • Complete production records, job documentation, and report any defects or machine faults
  • Perform routine machine checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance
  • Work closely with colleagues to meet production targets and dispatch deadlines
