Electrical QC Inspector – min 3mth contract (outside IR35) + immediate start. £competitive hourly rate (experience dependent) + extra 1hrs paid travel daily + average 40hr week Mon-Fri + overtime.
Responsibilities include:
- Site-based, carrying out detailed Electrical Safety checks & inspections and delivering inspection reports.
- Drawings, tracing, labelling and schedules of electrical installations.
- Emergency lighting inspection and test to BS 5266 standard.
- Electrical load analysis; Public entertainment licensing testing.
- Lightning protection systems inspection and testing.
- Electrical safety assessments for plant and machinery.
- Act as Advisor providing technical and legislative advice where necessary.
Profile:
- C&G Part 1, 2 & 3 electrical installation qualification OR HND / HNC.
- C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing certificate and 17th/18th Edition regs.
- Recent experience working on large, high hazard construction projects.
- Experience undertaking detailed Inspections.
- Proven technical knowledge and understanding.
- Excellent customer service manner, with strong communications and interpersonal skills.
- Current UK driving license.
