We are looking to engage with a qualified Tier 3 registered Fire Risk Assessor on an ongoing contract basis to undertake Fire Safety surveys and offer expert advice to a range of clients & industries. This contract work will suit an individual who already works with various clients & is looking to add further work to their contract portfolio.
Fire Risk Assessor remit:
- Work independently to deliver complex, high-quality Fire Safety Audits / surveys, Fire Management Strategies, Fire Door Surveys, Passive Protection Surveys, Fire & Emergency Plans and Fire Safety Consultancy services as required.
- Technical Project Management and service delivery.
- Produce technical reports and demonstrate extensive knowledge, experience and sound understanding of Fire Safety legislation, standards and best practice.
- Client relationship management; deal with queries & challenges effectively and appropriately, offering advice and solutions.
Fire Risk Assessor profile:
- NEBOSH Fire Safety & Management Certificate or higher-level qualification in Fire safety.
- IFSM / NAFRAR Tier 3 registered Fire Risk Assessor.
- Min 5 years experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessments on high risk and complex buildings.
- Experience producing complex & detail-driven reports.
- Experience working in high hazard and manufacturing environments.
- Experience writing fire plans and fire policy.
- Validation by TPCB as part of BAFE SP205 scheme for life safety FRAs.
- Experience liaising with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
