We are looking to engage with an Environmental Compliance & Industrial Waste Consultant on an ongoing contract basis to assist a client in managing their risk associated with industrial effluent waste legislation. This will suit an individual who is currently set up as a contractor and who is happy to add another client to their work portfolio.
Responsibilities include:
- Travel to client site daily for 4hrs to help the business stay compliant with effluent discharge legislation
- Carry out monitoring / collection of samples
- Analyse samples using ICP equipment
- Report & update system on findings
- Attend regular technical review meetings
Profile:
- Experience in water or effluent monitoring / risk assessments or Lab Technician sampling work or similar
- Hold relevant qualifications
- Demonstrate experience in water or effluent monitoring, sampling and analysis
- Confident speaking to a range of clients and explaining findings
- Great with tech – comfortable using Microsoft and mobile software
- Organised, punctual, and thorough under pressure
- Full UK driving licence and use of own car
