Financial Accounting Lead key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for ensuring accurate statutory accounting, regulatory reporting, and strong financial controls whilst maintaining full compliance with local legislation, tax requirements, and SOX standards.
  • Oversee key accounting activities such as balance sheet analysis, fixed asset reporting, working capital forecasting, and preparation of financial information for management.
  • Review payroll outputs for accuracy, advise on payroll matters, and liaise with tax and HR teams on payroll-related matters.
  • Act as a key contact for internal and external auditors, support policy and process improvements, collaborate with global service centres, and provide guidance to employees as required.

Financial Accounting Lead profile:

  • ACA Qualified Accountant.
  • Min 2-3yrs experience out of Practice in a commercial business environment.
  • A background in an organization with EU / global reach; pharmaceutical business experience beneficial.
  • Experienced taking responsibility and working autonomously.
  • Must be technically savvy, with excellent knowledge of Excel & SAP.
  • Confident & engaging people skills; ability to manage relationships across multiple countries.
  • Strong attention to detail, innovative, flexible and open to change and new ideas.
