H&S Consultant (Solar construction site) – Devon

£500 per day (all in & outside IR35) + 12mth on-site contract work + overtime + weekend work

Our client, a global organisation employing more than 65,000 individuals, is looking to engage with a contract H&S Consultant who has a background in construction site safety, specifically within solar power / renewables ideally, to undertake a min 6mth contract (rolling)

H&S Consultant remit includes;

• Offer H&S advice & risk/compliance solutions to clients / staff on site
• Undertake H&S Risk assessments and deliver comprehensive reports
• Perform audits of policies, procedures and company processes for Clients, to ensure safe systems of work.
• Undertake accident and Incident Investigations
• Identify EHS risks and advise on mitigation strategies to reduce risk/exposure
• Provide high standards of decision making and assist in continually improving H&S standards

H&S Consultant profile;

• BSc (Hons), NEBOSH, Diploma in Health & Safety Management or similar
• CMIOSH / CDM / Construction safety / Principal Designer or similar
• Experience dealing with health & safety or risk/compliance solutions on live construction sites, specifically within Solar Energy / Renewables ideally
• Lead auditor training in Health & Safety Management
• NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate advantageous
• Excellent report, presentation & communication skills
• Demonstrates the ability to manage own time effectively
• Strong relationship building skills / proficient in MS Office applications
