Our Client, a successful global organisation employing more than 60,000 people worldwide, is looking to engage with a Solar Site Quality Inspections Engineer to assist in delivering subject matter expertise on the construction site.
The remit includes:
- Field Surveillance: Daily inspections of ramming, structure and modules mounting, and cabling.
- Adherence to Manuals: Verification of torque marks, mounting sequences, and cable management as per supplier specifications.
- Material Traceability: Ensuring all components and materials arriving or installed on-site are correctly identified, tracked, and verified.
- Documentary Support: Assistance in the progressive compilation of the "Technical Memory" and management of checklists and ITPs.
- Defect Reporting: Immediate identification of technical "Red Flags" to QA/QC Manager and PM to prevent rework.
The profile required includes:
- Relevant HNC / HND or higher.
- Proven experience in large-scale Solar PV construction, minimum 150 MW, particularly in quality-related roles.
- Strong ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office is mandatory.
- Methodical mindset for site record management and material tracking.
- Languages: English proficiency is mandatory. Spanish and German language skills will be highly valued.
- Valid UK site access certifications (CSCS or equivalent).
