Our client, a global Healthcare organisation employing more than 8000 individuals across 100 countries worldwide, is looking to engage with a contract HSE Advisor (CMIOSH or working towards) who is happy to work 3 days a week on site for the long-term (6-12 months & rolling).
This opportunity would suit a freelance HSE Advisor who is comfortable working 3 days a week for the long-term and/or has other clients they can support on the other 2 days.
The HSE Advisor (CMIOSH or working towards) remit includes:
- Provide HSE advice & risk/compliance solutions to onsite team/business.
- Undertake Risk assessments and deliver reports as required.
- Perform audits of policies, procedures and company processes for Client as required, to ensure safe systems of work, delivering reports within SLA timeframes.
- Identify EHS risks and advise on mitigation strategies to reduce risk/exposure.
The HSE Advisor (CMIOSH or working towards) profile:
- BSc (Hons) or Diploma in Health & Safety Management or similar.
- CMIOSH or working towards + understanding of site safety in high-risk environments.
- Experience dealing with health & safety or risk/compliance solutions in higher risk industry sectors to include Pharmaceuticals, Aviation, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, etc.
- Experience implementing safety management systems.
- Lead auditor training in Health & Safety Management.
- NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate advantageous.
- Strong relationship building skills / proficient in MS Office applications.
