Our client, a global organisation employing more than 55,000 individuals, is looking to engage with a Lead HSE Consultant for an offshore Wind project.
The remit includes:
- Act as a senior client-side Lead on the offshore project, providing independent Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) assurance and advisory services to offshore wind developers, owners, and EPC contractors.
- Focus on verifying HSE compliance, governance, and performance across offshore wind projects while maintaining position as a trusted, impartial technical authority.
- Review HSE Management Plans, contractor systems, RAMS, lifting plans, and marine procedures.
- Conduct independent surveillances, inspections, and assurance activities.
- Identify gaps and support corrective actions.
- Incident & environmental oversight.
- Provide high standards of decision making and assist in continually improving HSE standards.
The profile includes:
- BSc (Hons), NEBOSH L6 Diploma in Health & Safety Management or similar.
- CMIOSH / CDM / Construction safety / Principal Designer.
- GWO BST, BOSIET/HUET, Offshore Medical.
- IEMA or equivalent.
- Extensive offshore wind or offshore construction HSE experience.
- Client-side / assurance / consultancy background.
- Strong knowledge of offshore and marine regulatory frameworks.
- Confidence to consult & challenge at senior level.
