H&S Consultant – Grimsby £40-£45 per hour (outside IR35 & experience dependent) + expenses + Feb/March start + 12month rolling contract A global organisation employing more than 55,000 individuals, is looking to engage with an H&S Consultant who is able to take on a site-based, construction H&S contract within the Renewables sector H&S Consultant remit; * Provide H&S consultation & risk /compliance solutions on live ‘renewables’ construction site * Undertake H&S Risk assessments and deliver accurate & detailed reporting * Assist in overseeing site-safety / offering building & construction site-based safety advice * CDM / Principal Designer experience advantageous * Identify EHS risks and advise on mitigation strategies to reduce risk / exposure * Act as Advisor to clients, providing high standards of decision-making * Assist businesses in H&S policy writing H&S Consultant profile; * NVQ level 4 in Health & Safety Management or similar * H&S accreditation from certified body * NEBOSH Fire / NEBOSH Construction certs / CSCS card * Experience working on live construction sites to include Waste-Energy, Nuclear, Solar / Wind / other Renewables projects * Experience undertaking H&S risk assessments in above sectors * Experience writing / advising on H&S policies for global businesses * Experience acting as Advisor to Business clients / Stakeholder management * Excellent report, presentation & communication skills If the above H&S Consultant opportunity looks of interest, you reside within easy reach of Grimsby and you are a Contractor, able to add to your client portfolio, then please email your details and one of our consultants will be in touch
