V.Ships Leisure is looking for a Human Resources Director on behalf of Silversea Cruises. The Human Resources Director (HRD) is a strategic HR professional and a member of the Executive Committee. The HRD partners with the leadership team to implement HR policies and procedures.
Serving as a strategic business partner to the shipboard leadership team and Executive Committee, the HRD collaborates closely with the Executive Committee to align HR strategies with business goals, providing strategic insights and guidance for decision‑making, talent management, and organizational development.
Additionally, the HRD champions and leads cultural transformation initiatives to foster a positive, inclusive, and high‑performance culture, designing and implementing change management strategies, and promoting employee engagement and alignment with company values.
The HRD must have extensive knowledge in all aspects of HR including performance management, conduct management, career development, employee relations, MLC compliance, crew experience, learning & development, and HR administration.
The HRD serves as the Compliance and Ethics Officer, investigating any concerns and maintaining a close reporting relationship with the Captain for all other crew‑related matters. Employees may be required to perform any other job‑related duties assigned by their supervisor or management. All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with the Company's Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.
