Role Overview

We are looking for a Home Buyer to manage and grow the Home category across TV, online, and digital platforms. The role focuses on product selection, supplier management, margin optimization, and delivering commercially successful ranges aligned to customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end buying for assigned Home sub-categories (Home Décor, Kitchen, Storage, Soft Furnishings, Home Improvement, etc.)
  • Identify trends, source new products, and build compelling ranges for TV and e-commerce
  • Manage supplier negotiations on cost, MOQ, lead times, exclusivity, and commercials
  • Work closely with Planning, Merchandising, Production, and TV teams to ensure strong on-air performance
  • Manage product lifecycle: ranging, forecasting, replenishment, and exit strategy
  • Ensure products meet quality, compliance, and brand standards
  • Analyze sales, margins, and customer insights to optimize assortment
  • Support promotional planning, launches, and seasonal events

Key Skills & Experience

  • 3–6 years’ experience in Buying (Home category preferred)
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven margin delivery
  • Excellent supplier negotiation and sourcing skills (UK/EU/Asia exposure preferred)
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze sales and customer trends
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience with TV retail / omnichannel retail is a plus
