Senior Insight Analyst Role Purpose Lead and manage a team of analysts delivering high-quality customer, business, operational and predictive insight. Responsible for providing trusted analytics and intelligence that support strategic and operational decision-making across the organisation. The role focuses on transforming complex data into meaningful information, actionable insight and tangible business outcomes. This includes delivering business intelligence projects, customer segmentation analysis, predictive analytics and research initiatives that drive service improvement, organisational performance and customer-focused decision making. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of high-quality business insight projects, intelligence reporting and ad hoc analytical requests. Manage, coach and mentor analytical team members, providing leadership, direction and workload prioritisation. Translate complex datasets into clear and actionable insight that supports strategic objectives and business improvement. Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges, define analytical requirements and deliver valuable recommendations. Lead customer insight and segmentation activities, identifying behaviours, trends and opportunities to enhance services and customer experience. Conduct in-depth analysis of customer data to identify trends, satisfaction levels, performance drivers, costs and emerging patterns. Utilise predictive analytics and data modelling techniques to identify future opportunities, risks and areas for improvement. Monitor external market, economic and social trends to identify emerging issues and opportunities requiring analytical investigation. Ensure the provision of accurate, timely and insightful reporting that informs decision-making at all levels of the organisation. Apply a range of quantitative and qualitative research techniques to support evidence-based decision making. Produce high-quality reports, presentations and executive summaries tailored to a variety of audiences. Work collaboratively across wider data, research and business functions to ensure insight is effectively translated into action. Promote a culture of evidence-led decision making and champion the value of insight throughout the organisation. Lead problem-solving initiatives through analytical investigation and provide practical recommendations to support business outcomes. Undertake any other duties appropriate to the level and scope of the role. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential * Significant experience within Insight, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Research, Data Visualisation or Analytical Consultancy environments. * Proven experience leading teams and/or managing analytical projects that deliver high-quality business outcomes. * Strong experience in customer insight, segmentation and behavioural analysis. * Demonstrable ability to influence business decisions through data-driven recommendations and insight. * Excellent quantitative and qualitative research skills, including interpretation and analysis of complex information. * Advanced experience working with and analysing large datasets. * Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organisation. * Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. * Self-motivated, proactive and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. * Collaborative team player with a flexible and adaptable approach.
