The Opportunity
We are seeking a Healthy Homes Disrepair Senior Planner to play a key role in delivering a responsive, customer-focused disrepair service, ensuring residents receive an efficient and effective experience throughout the disrepair process.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys coordinating people, resources and processes to ensure complex cases are managed successfully from inspection through to completion.
The Role
As a Healthy Homes Disrepair Senior Planner, you will lead and support a team of Disrepair Schedulers, ensuring workloads are effectively managed, trade diaries are optimised and customers receive a seamless service throughout their journey.
You will oversee the planning and coordination of disrepair works, working closely with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate resources, materials and approvals are in place to maintain progress and achieve service targets.
You will also act as a key point of contact for a variety of stakeholders, helping to manage complex cases, provide updates and ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
In addition to operational responsibilities, you will use data and performance insight to monitor service delivery, identify risks, maintain accurate records and support reporting activities that drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Disrepair Schedulers.
- Coordinate complex disrepair cases from inspection to completion.
- Manage and optimise trade and contractor schedules.
- Ensure works are delivered efficiently, safely and compliantly.
- Liaise with residents, colleagues, contractors and stakeholders.
- Monitor performance against service objectives and targets.
- Identify service risks and implement appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting information.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the disrepair service.
- Ensure a customer-focused approach is maintained at all times.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have strong organisational and planning skills with experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally within housing, repairs, maintenance or disrepair services.
You will be a confident and supportive leader with the ability to motivate and develop a team while managing competing priorities and complex workloads.
