We are looking for a skilled Floor Layer to join a busy property maintenance team, carrying out flooring repairs and renewals across residential properties throughout Hampshire and surrounding areas, including Bournemouth, Salisbury, New Forest and Basingstoke. The Role
As a Floor Layer, you'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of flooring installations, repairs and replacements within occupied and void properties. You'll work across responsive repairs, planned maintenance and property refurbishment projects, delivering a high standard of workmanship while providing an excellent customer experience.
Typical duties will include:
- Installation and replacement of vinyl flooring
- Carpet fitting and repairs
- Safety flooring installation
- Flooring works within kitchens, bathrooms and wet rooms
- Preparing subfloors and surfaces
- Carrying out responsive repairs and planned maintenance works
- Working within occupied and void properties
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience as a Floor Layer
- Experience fitting vinyl, safety flooring and carpets
- Experience working within social housing, domestic properties or property maintenance environments
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Full UK Driving Licence
