VG MSO Ltd have been in operation for 149 years providing complete sustainable packaging solutions from design through to delivery of cartonboard packaging and labels to the food, drink, pharmaceutical and healthcare markets. We currently employ 170+ people at our factory on the Castlereagh Road in Belfast and are part of the Van Genechten Packaging Group which spans 15 sites across the UK and Europe.
We have an opportunity in our IT Department to join a well established team of print professionals in a successful, established and growing organisation as an IT Analyst. In return we offer a competitive salary, 34 days holiday per year including statutory days, company pension scheme etc.
Main tasks of Job:
- Responsible for the Company IT Help Desk
- Look after the daily maintenance and administration of hardware and software
- Providing internal user training and support for the company ERP and Office 365
- Manage and implement IT projects
- Support the implementation of Cybersecurity measures
- Prepare reports to support all Business Departments

Essential Requirements
- 5 GCSEs including Maths, ICT and English (Grade C or above) or equivalent
- IT skills (hardware and software)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, user and administration
- Working knowledge of Windows Server including Active Directory and Exchange email server
- Flexible approach with a willingness to learn new technologies
- Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
- Team Player
- Excellent attention to detail
Desirable Requirements
- A’ Level or equivalent in a STEM related discipline
- Previous experience working in a similar role within a packaging or manufacturing environment
- Microsoft Server courses including Exchange or equivalent
- SQL / Crystal Reports / EFI Radius knowledge
- BI Dashboards
