Salary: From 48K, depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week (between 8am and 4pm)

Working style: Hybrid – 3 days per week on site

Location: Calverton, Nottingham

We're looking for an outstanding Credit Risk Manager to lead our Risk and Data Integrity team. VF is a global apparel company connecting people to the lifestyles they cherish through our family of iconic brands. As Credit Risk Manager you will be managing the credit risk strategies of VF's EMEA Credit Department, including the protection of the debtor asset and simultaneously optimising commercial growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing the credit risk strategy and policy, including challenging current practices and implementing processes.
  • Ensuring the analysis of customer financial accounts including balance sheet, profit and loss statement & cash flow statement, as well as stress-testing the findings.
  • Overseeing the processing and opening of all new accounts for the whole of VF's EMEA business with appropriate risk analysis and data quality.
  • Conducting regular risk meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including regular updates on macro-economic data.
  • Providing specialised training on systems and risk related processes to the Credit Department as well as training to impacted external stakeholders.
  • Exploring new ways of working using AI with the goal of automating repetitive and time-consuming parts of processes.

Skills for Success:

  • Deep understanding of credit risk and credit risk modelling, in particular IFRS 9.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • Leadership Skills, managing Team Leaders and projects.
  • Be comfortable to make a decision, be assertive and adaptable.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Practical knowledge of Power BI, Python or Tableau as well as creation of AI agents would be beneficial.
