Salary: From £25,000 per year depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week (between 8am and 4pm)

Working style: Hybrid - 3 days per week on site

VF Corporation is looking for a team player who is keen to use their French language skills, to join our European Credit Team in Calverton, Nottinghamshire. Our role is open to anyone who has the amazing skill of being bi-lingual and speaking French as well as English.

Let's Talk about the Role

The role of a Credit Controller is all about talking to our customers and helping them to keep on top of their business account, payments and orders for VF brand's awesome products. In this role you will work alongside a great team and talk to customers all across Europe.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Using your French and English communication skills, you will build great relationships with other businesses, colleagues and customers.
  • Communicating with customers over the phone, Zoom/Teams and by email to discuss payments, credit terms, and to resolve any queries.
  • Helping customers to make the right payments at the right time so that their account with VF stays up to date.
  • Help to solve queries and problems for the customer, so that they are happy to make more orders and buy more of our products.
  • Work with and build relationships internally, with all the other teams across VF Corporation including Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain.
  • Maintain accurate records using our IT systems and databases in an effective manner.

Skills for Success

  • Fluent in French and English, able to communicate with people by speaking and writing in both languages.
  • You are a problem solver who loves to investigate matters and find solutions.
  • You can work with numbers, facts and figures and understand the importance of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowing how to use Excel is going to help you in this role, but we can also teach you and develop these skills further.
