AEO/SEO Specialist
We need an experienced Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to join the Veuno team. You will be the primary AEO/SEO strategist and execution lead for our clients.
This client‑facing role requires listening to and understanding project objectives and devising appropriate strategies and implementation plans. You will work closely with the PPC Manager to maximize ROI across Google, Yahoo and Bing.
Responsibilities
- Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights to maximize ROI across organic search channels
- Track, report, and analyze website analytics, AI search visibility (SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity), and local SEO performance
- Advise on optimizing copy and landing pages to improve rankings and AEO performance using structured answers and semantic relevance
- Optimize for Featured Snippets, AI‑generated answers, and other SERP and AI placements
- Create scalable templates for short‑form, long‑form, evergreen, and programmatic SEO content
- Advise on optimizing social and video content for visibility in search engines and AI‑driven answer platforms
- Perform continuous keyword discovery, clustering, and intent‑based expansion using AI‑enhanced SEO tools
- Ensure correct implementation of structured data, schema markup, and entity tagging to support answer engine visibility
- Research and implement SEO recommendations that align with evolving search engine and LLM answer behavior
- Analyze competitor visibility across Google, SGE, Perplexity, Bing Chat, and GEO‑targeted queries
- Develop and execute white‑hat link acquisition strategies to improve topical authority and domain strength
- Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles, local citations, and service‑area/location pages for multi‑location clients
- Implement GEO strategies targeting city‑level, regional, and “near me” search intent
- Monitor AI answer sources to identify opportunities for brand mentions and inclusion in answer engine citations
- Recommend and implement on‑site SEO improvements to boost crawlability, indexation, and Core Web Vitals
- Review and improve local and national landing pages for conversion performance and search alignment
- Detect and resolve SEO performance issues including crawl errors, incorrect markup, and local ranking drops
- Collaborate with the PPC team to align keyword strategies and improve Quality Score through SEO insights
- Maintain client relationships by clearly communicating performance metrics, trends, and recommendations
- Lead regular client performance reviews, with actionable insights tied to AEO/GEO/SEO KPIs
- Track key success metrics including AI visibility, local pack rankings, keyword improvements, and client satisfaction

- Proven strategies and tactics to improve SEO in a scalable way across traditional, local (GEO), and AI‑powered search platforms (AEO)
- Expert knowledge of both technical and non‑technical SEO best practices, including schema, entity optimization, and answer engine formatting
- Proficiency with third‑party tools (e.g. SpyFu, SEMrush, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog) for keyword, competitor, and AI visibility analysis
- In‑depth experience with website analytics tools: GA4, Firebase, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends
- Google Tag Manager – advanced tags, triggers, and variables for SEO, GEO, and content tracking
- Google Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio) – linking accounts, building dashboards, and tracking AEO/GEO metrics
- Strong proficiency in Google Drive – Sheets, Docs, shared drives, permissions, and access management
- Prior experience with SEM campaign management and understanding of how SEO, AEO, and local targeting impact ad performance and Quality Score
- Experience designing and executing A/B and multivariate tests to improve content ranking, engagement, and AI summarization accuracy
- Up‑to‑date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO, local SEO (GEO), and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) across both web and AI‑first platforms
