Veterinary Nurse - Part Time

Are you a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) looking for a fulfilling part-time role? This position offers the perfect balance between professional growth and personal time, set in a vibrant and supportive environment.

This part-time role, spanning 2-3 days per week (with Friday being a mandatory day), includes an 8-hour workday from Wednesday to Friday. Additionally, there is a 1:2 branch Saturday afternoon and a 1:10 Sunday. Enjoy the peace of mind with no on-call requirements, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough consultations, examining pets and providing evidence-based management and treatment recommendations.
• Perform surgeries within your competence and manage overnight care limitations.
• Prescribe and dispense medications in line with current legislation and RCVS guidance.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical notes.
• Foster a respectful and collaborative team environment.
• Schedule and action branch meetings and clinic SOPs.
• Oversee consulting and surgical/diagnostic diaries in compliance with company policies.

Skills and experience:

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification.
• Comfortable in a sole charge position, managing the day-to-day operations of the practice.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle challenging days.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in a GP practice environment is desirable but not essential.

This role offers a competitive salary range of £23,012.50 to £25,642.50, depending on experience. Additional benefits include 6.6 weeks of annual leave (pro-rata), a CPD budget with paid leave, paid lunch breaks, and access to a private medical healthcare scheme at a reduced rate.
