Key duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct 1 to 2 farm visits daily to assess sick birds, perform brood reviews and provide training or general support.
- Carry out post-mortems, take samples, and handle phone enquiries.
- Advise on disease prevention strategies, health planning, and management.
- Cover audit requirements to maintain high standards of clinical service.
Skills and experience:
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Experience in poultry veterinary care is desirable but not essential; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
