Client Services Administrator – Cambridge/Hertfordshire Border
We are looking for a proactive and friendly Client Services Administrator to join our small, supportive team. Based at our site on the Cambridge/Hertfordshire border, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business, which provides pet cremations and specialist waste management services to veterinary practices.
This role is ideal for someone with administration experience in a customer-focused environment who enjoys delivering excellent client service and working collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for veterinary practices, handling service requests and queries via telephone.
- Coordinate with the transport department to schedule collections and keep veterinary clients informed, resolving any service issues.
- Process and manage consumable orders, ensuring accurate delivery and handling of amendments.
- Maintain accurate records in both computer systems and paper files, including the use of a Purgo database, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Prepare and distribute quarterly waste audit reports.
- Perform other administrative duties as required to support the smooth running of the business.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in office administration within a client-focused environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Enthusiasm, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to engage effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- The ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
Working Hours:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, but some flexibility will be required.
