An experienced production animal veterinarian role based in Winton, working alongside a tight-knit, experienced team. You'll get out on farm doing practical production animal work that matters - from pregnancy scanning and calving through to herd health and building client relationships to being a trusted advisor to progressive farm clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Hands-on production animal work - scanning, calving, farm visits, herd health and seasonal dairy work
  • Real client relationships - trusted, practical support for local dairy farmers throughout the season
  • Reproduction, mastitis, lameness, animal health planning and on-farm problem solving
  • Build your skills in the areas of production animal work that interest you most

About you

  • BVSc (or equivalent) + eligible for NZ registration
  • 3+ years' production animal experience
  • Passionate about the dairy industry
  • Confident communicating with farmers and working as part of a close team
  • Still hungry to learn and grow
