This is an excellent opportunity to gain a Level 2 apprenticeship in Animal Care and Welfare at our Warrington Riverside Vets for Pets.
As part of this apprenticeship, you will be required to complete a level 2 English and Maths functional skills qualification. If you have already achieved GCSEs in English and Maths at Level 4 (grade C) or above, you will not need to complete the functional skills element of this apprenticeship.

The successful candidate(s) will be enrolled onto a Level 2 apprenticeship in Animal Care and Welfare. At the enrolment state, the individual’s eligibility will be checked by the training provider. Candidates need to make sure they do not have pre-existing qualifications at the same or higher level in a similar subject as the apprenticeship.
If you are unsure of your eligibility, please review the content of the apprenticeship standard on the IfATE website (see link below) and assess whether your previous learning has already covered much of this content. If it has, you’re unlikely to be eligible for the apprenticeship.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week including 1 in 2 weekends, for a fixed term of 12 to 18 Months.
