In this part‑time role you will work with a team who are passionate about progressing in the world of emergency and critical care, where you will benefit from a good support network and mentorship. Our Sidcup clinic offers a varied caseload, where working as an emergency Vet Surgeon at our Sidcup clinic will expose you to an excellent number of interesting cases, which you simply won’t see in general practice.
At Vets Now, we’re revolutionising out‑of‑hours Emergency and Critical Care by partnering with local practices to provide expert ECC when it’s needed most. Our dedicated team of vets, nurses, and support staff work nights, weekends, and bank holidays to ensure pets receive exceptional care. At Vets Now we champion work/life balance and understand how important this is for our people. In this part‑time role, the shifts will typically include Monday to Friday every week (6 pm‑11 pm) and one Sunday shift a month (9 am‑9 pm), plus a fair share of bank holidays.
As a backshift Vet you will often work as the second Vet on shift, providing an opportunity to share knowledge and work together on the more complex cases.
