At Vets Now, we understand that there’s life beyond the typical 9-5. If you’re looking for change or want to enhance your ECC skills, this Part Time role in our fast paced hospital in Liverpool could be perfect for you. We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to work on average of 13.5 hours per week, working on a 9 week rolling rota. This includes 1 in 2 weekends, covering weekend backshifts and Monday nightshifts. Don’t worry if this rota doesn’t entirely fit. Because we believe in balance, we can discuss patterns that work for you!

Vets Now for Team Support

In the Liverpool clinic, you’ll find a strong support network in highly experienced and ECC certified Surgeons, ECC certified skilled nurses and knowledgeable Animal Care Assistants and Receptionists. Thanks to our diverse and busy caseload, spanning both private and PDSA cases, you’ll typically work alongside at least one experienced vet and two seasoned nurses (may be more during our peak times), ensuring you’re never short of support. You’ll benefit from dedicated support and coaching, both formally as part of your professional journey and informally through collaboration with our Senior Vet, Sadie.
