Role
Part Time Veterinary Receptionist – £12.60ph plus benefits
Responsibilities
- First point of contact: serve as an initial point of contact for clients during emergency situations, whether through calls or in person visits; greeting clients, answering calls, booking appointments, and handling financial transactions.
- Administration: manage administrative duties in clinic accurately, ensuring smooth operation; provide updates to veterinary staff about patients enroute or clients requiring assistance.
- Client support: be a friendly and reassuring presence, offering support and information; act as a liaison between clients and veterinary professionals.
Working pattern
Working around 11 hours per week over a mixture of shifts:
- Monday to Friday: 18:00–23:00
- Saturday: 12:00–18:00 or 18:00–23:00
- Sunday: 09:00–18:00 or 18:00–23:00
- Plus a fair share of bank holidays
