Role

Part Time Veterinary Receptionist – £12.60ph plus benefits

Responsibilities

  • First point of contact: serve as an initial point of contact for clients during emergency situations, whether through calls or in person visits; greeting clients, answering calls, booking appointments, and handling financial transactions.
  • Administration: manage administrative duties in clinic accurately, ensuring smooth operation; provide updates to veterinary staff about patients enroute or clients requiring assistance.
  • Client support: be a friendly and reassuring presence, offering support and information; act as a liaison between clients and veterinary professionals.

Working pattern

Working around 11 hours per week over a mixture of shifts:

  • Monday to Friday: 18:00–23:00
  • Saturday: 12:00–18:00 or 18:00–23:00
  • Sunday: 09:00–18:00 or 18:00–23:00
  • Plus a fair share of bank holidays
