Temporary Christmas and New Year Vet Receptionist
£17ph plus £250 completion bonus
Vets Now are the UK’s leading provider of emergency pet care, providing a trusted veterinary service within our out-of-hours clinics. Our Receptionists are the first point of contact when a client calls or arrives at a clinic. Over Christmas and New Year our emergency clinics are particularly busy requiring additional support for emergency cases. This is a great opportunity to earn an additional income for four shifts over the Christmas period.
Rota pattern
Monday 22nd December 2025 – Induction shift from 19:00 to 23:00
Thursday 25th December 2025 from 12:00 to 20:00
Friday 26th December 2025 from 12:00 to 20:00
Thursday 1st January 2026 from 12:00 to 20:00
Roles and responsibilities
- Answering calls
- Arranging emergency consultations
- Tracking admissions and discharges
- You will be responsible for communicating clearly with our nursing team and clients keeping everybody updated and informed.

- Passionate about animal care with the drive to work in a busy emergency vet clinic over the Christmas and New Year period
