Veterinary Receptionist Evenings and Weekends

£12.60 per hour plus benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the face of Emergency and Critical Care services: act as the first point of contact during emergencies, handling calls, greeting clients, and managing financial transactions.
  • Provide updates: relay information to the veterinary team about patients en route to the clinic or clients in need of assistance.
  • Handle administration duties: perform administrative tasks accurately and ensure smooth clinic operation.
  • Client support: be a friendly and reassuring presence, offering support and information when clients need it most; act as a liaison between clients and veterinary professionals.

Rota Pattern

  • Week 1 – Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday, 18:00 to 00:00
  • Week 2 – Tuesday, 18:00 to 00:00
  • Week 3 – Thursday and Saturday 18:00 to 00:00
  • Week 4 – Tuesday 18:00 to 00:00
  • Plus a share of bank holidays
