Understanding your key role
Our nursing team are at the core of clinical treatment including triage, surgery, anaesthesia, and in‑patient care. Key responsibilities will include:
- First Aid – give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
- Critical Care – management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring of in‑patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
- Diagnostics – confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.
Key requirements
- RCVS registered for a minimum of six months.
- Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
- Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
- Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.
Working pattern
Enjoy a balanced work‑life schedule with an average of 40 hours per week, including weekday nights, weekend days and nights, and a share of bank holidays. Shift times are Nights, 19:00 to 08:30, Saturday day 12:00 to 19:30 and Sunday day 08:00 to 19:30. You will typically work 12 shifts per month.
