Understanding your key role

Our nursing team are at the core of clinical treatment including triage, surgery, anaesthesia, and in-patient care. Key responsibilities will include:

  • First Aid - give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
  • Critical Care - management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring of in-patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
  • Diagnostics - confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.

Key requirements

  • RCVS registered for a minimum of six months.
  • Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
  • Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
  • Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.

Working pattern

You will work an average of 32 hours per week:

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 7pm-9am
  • Week 2: Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 7pm-9am
  • Week 3: Off
  • Week 4: Wednesday, Thursday - 7pm-9am
