Weekend Veterinary Nurse – Macclesfield

Up to £17ph DOE plus benefits

Working hours: 1:4 weekends working Saturday from 12:00 to 19:00 and Sunday from 08:00 to 19:00. Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.

Understanding your key role: Our nursing team are at the core of clinical treatment including triage, surgery, anaesthesia, and in-patient care.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • First Aid – give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
  • Critical Care – management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring of in-patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
  • Diagnostics – confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.

Key requirements:

  • RCVS registered for a minimum of six months.
  • Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
  • Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
  • Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.
