Key Responsibilities

  • Be the face of Emergency and Critical Care services: Receptionists are the first point of contact during emergencies, handling calls, greeting clients, and managing financial transactions.
  • Provide updates: Relay information to the veterinary team about patients enroute to the clinic or clients in need of assistance.
  • Handle administration duties: Perform administrative tasks accurately.
  • First point of contact: Serve as an initial point of contact for clients during emergency situations, whether through calls or in person visits.
  • Administration: Manage administrative duties in clinic accurately, ensuring the smooth operation of the service.
  • Client Support: Be a friendly and reassuring presence, offering support and information when clients need it most.

Rota pattern

  • Week 1: Tuesday 6pm-11pm
  • Week 2: Wednesday 6pm-11pm, Thursday 6pm-11pm, Saturday 12pm-6pm and Sunday 8am-6pm
  • Week 3: Wednesday 6pm-11pm
  • Week 4: Saturday 12pm-6pm and Sunday 8am-6pm
  • Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.
