Up to £27,000 DOE

Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Working from our Support Office in Dunfermline

For over 20 years, Vets Now has been at the forefront of out of hours emergency care, supporting over 1,000 vet practices and operating in 60+ emergency clinics and specialist referral hospitals nationwide. We’re award-winning, innovative, and passionate about delivering exceptional care to pets and their owners.

About the role

We are looking for an Office Administrator to support the smooth and efficient day to day running of our Support Office. Acting as a central point of contact for our office operations and maintaining a well organised, compliant and welcoming working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact for visitors, contractors, colleagues and deliveries
  • On site reception cover including shared mailboxes, managing mail and courier services
  • Raise, monitor and coordinate maintenance requests with contractors and facilities partners
  • Manage stationery, office supplies, catering and general office purchasing
  • Checking and processing invoices, purchase orders and approvals
  • Support Office keyholder, available for emergency call outs
  • Perform Fire Marshall duties, including weekly fire alarm testing
  • Suggest improvements to streamline office processes, colleague experience and operational efficiency

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience of working within office administration
  • Highly effective organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence to engage professionally with colleagues, suppliers, contractors and visitors
  • Confident managing orders and processing invoices
  • Computer literacy, with excellent knowledge of MS Office packages
