Weekend Veterinary Nurse – Cheltenham

Up to Β£17ph DOE plus benefits

Working hours:

  • Week 1 – Saturday 16:00-22:00 and Sunday 18:00-00:00
  • Week 2 – OFF
  • Week 3 – Sunday 18:00-00:00
  • Week 4 – OFF
  • Week 5 – Saturday 16:00-22:00 and Sunday 18:00-00:00
  • Week 6 – OFF

Understanding your key role

Our nursing team are at the core of clinical treatment including triage, surgery, anaesthesia, and in-patient care. Key responsibilities will include:

  • First Aid – give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
  • Critical Care – management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring of in-patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
  • Diagnostics – confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.

Key requirements

  • RCVS registered for a minimum of six months.
  • Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
  • Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
  • Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.
