If you are an enthusiastic RVN looking to join a warm and friendly team then we would love to hear from you! Here at Watford Vets for Pets we are a locally owned practice with the support of a larger organisation, our clients love us and we think you will too!
About us
Based on the busy Century Retail Park in the Pets at Home store, we can offer a fantastic location to work, as well as boasting some state-of-the-art equipment and plenty of onsite parking. Were only half an hour from Central London by train, where you can enjoy all the Museums, Theatres and Restaurants that the capital has to offer.
You will be joining an existing team of 2 vets, 1 practice manager, a part time head nurse, 2 VCAs and 2 receptionists. By joining us you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential, admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, recovering, and discharging patients. Assistance from VCAs with turning around theatre, patient prep.
About you
To apply you will have strong general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be confident to work alone as well as in a team, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare, with preferably 2 3+ years experience. There is also the opportunity for you to start nurse clinics. Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients. Youll have great communication and organisation skills and take pride in working to a high standard. They key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.
This is a full time role working 40 hour per week including 1 in 2 Saturdays.
