Responsibilities

  • Maintain the high standards of the home to uphold the "Good" Ofsted rating through rigorous quality assurance and compliance with regulations.
  • Register and manage the home through its next phase of growth, including the transition to a dual-registered model.
  • Provide strong leadership and supervision to an established staff team, fostering professional development and high morale.
  • Ensure the environment remains safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed for young people with EBD.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with Ofsted, local authorities, and multi-agency partners.
  • Oversee the home’s financial performance, ensuring resources are utilised effectively to support positive outcomes for the children.

Requirements

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager within an EBD setting, with a track record of maintaining "Good" or "Outstanding" Ofsted ratings.
  • Strong leadership style capable of managing an established service without disrupting positive culture.
  • Knowledge of dual-registration requirements or a willingness to undertake relevant training.
  • Excellent analytical skills for monitoring KPIs and quality standards.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
