In this role, you will support the manager in the daily operation of a home that cares for young people aged 10 to 16 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). You will play a vital part in delivering high‑quality care, leading by example, and fostering a positive, nurturing environment for the young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example and support the management team to run the shift effectively
- Mentor and support newer staff members
- Encourage young people to participate in activities and take responsibility for their lives, depending on their age
- Maintain a homely, friendly environment within the home
- Manage challenging behaviours safely and sympathetically
- Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare

Requirements
