Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join a leading specialist provider as a Children's Residential Support Worker in Welford.
This role involves supporting children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in a safe, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Encourage young people to participate in activities and take responsibility for their own lives, appropriate to their age.
- Maintain a homely, friendly environment within the residential setting.
- Manage challenging behaviours with patience and professionalism.
- Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare.
- Support children and young people in promoting their independence and overall well-being.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to care plans, guidelines, and reward systems.
- Support young people through taxing behaviours safely and sympathetically.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young people's lives.
Requirements
- Experience as a Children’s Residential Support Worker or with Young People is desirable but not essential.
- Experience within healthcare or social care settings is advantageous.
- Must hold a full UK driver’s licence, as transportation of young people may be required.
- Must be over the age of 21.
- Ability to commute to Welford
