A leading specialist provider is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Caerphilly for the 2026 academic year. This full-time, long-term role offers an excellent opportunity to inspire and educate students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Sixth Form. The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, planning schemes of work, and supporting learners through a variety of classroom and lab-based activities. Key Responsibilities- Lead a classroom of learners across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Sixth Form
- Prepare classrooms and plan schemes of work in line with the national curriculum
- Deliver engaging lessons that incorporate both classroom and laboratory activities
- Manage behaviour in accordance with school policies
- Mark work and provide feedback to support student progress
- Attend parents’ evenings and school events as required
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive learning experience
- At least 1 year of Science teaching experience (exceptions for NQTs)
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
- Registration as a Teacher with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) – support available to assist with registration
- Valid references covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
