Location: Rhondda, Wales

Salary: £173.00 per day (minimum)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a classroom of learners in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Prepare classrooms and plan schemes of work where required.
  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Incorporate both classroom and lab-based activities to stimulate student interest.
  • Manage behaviour in accordance with the school’s policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of Science teaching experience (exceptions may apply for NQTs).
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent.
  • Registration as a Teacher with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps).
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Right to work in the UK.
