Job Description
Vetro is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join an inclusive and high-performing team in Cheshire. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support students' educational and social development within a vibrant secondary school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting teaching staff in delivering engaging learning activities for students with diverse needs.
- Assisting students in developing their social skills, self-reliance, and self-esteem.
- Undertaking predetermined activities to foster students’ intellectual growth and independence.
- Contributing to the creation of a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
Requirements & Qualifications
- GCSE or equivalent in English, Maths, or Science.
- Knowledge of the secondary education system and an understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Purposeful experience working with young people, preferably aged 11-16.
- Enthusiasm for learning and the ability to inspire students to reach their potential.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
