Job Title: Children’s Home Manager

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (including bonuses)

Job Description: Children’s Home Manager opportunity in Taunton, Somerset with a highly reputable children’s residential care provider. You’ll lead an exciting new chapter, helping shape a high-quality home that delivers safe, therapeutic care and positive outcomes for young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing a dedicated residential care team.
- Ensuring the home provides a safe, therapeutic, and enriching environment for children and young people.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations, including budget management, staffing, and rota planning.
- Maintaining strong compliance standards and ensuring readiness for Ofsted inspections.
- Building effective working relationships with local authorities and key stakeholders in Taunton and the wider Somerset area.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children’s residential setting.
- Strong working knowledge of Ofsted regulations and evidence of achieving positive inspection outcomes.
- Demonstrable leadership capability, with the ability to motivate and develop a stable team.
- A proactive, autonomous approach and a genuine commitment to improving young people’s lives.
