Senior Residential Support Worker – Children’s EBD Home
Location: Tadley, Hampshire, United Kingdom
Salary: £15.40 – £16.00 per hour
This position is for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a leading specialist provider dedicated to delivering exceptional care and education for children and young people. The role offers an opportunity to support children with complex needs, emotional and behavioural difficulties in a nurturing and safe environment, fostering recovery and positive development.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of professionals to deliver therapeutic care tailored to each child’s needs.
- Support the Service Manager in managing daily operations to ensure high standards of care.
- Act as a positive role model, building trusting relationships with children and colleagues.
- Provide therapeutic support to promote recovery and positive change for young people.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including care plans, progress reports, and observations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months experience in a children’s residential setting, with knowledge of child-centred and therapeutic models.
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication skills, caring nature, flexibility, and resilience.
