Job Title: Children’s Residential Support Worker Location: Sudbury, Suffolk, East of England Salary: £32,304 to £35,305 ( Inclusive of sleep-ins) Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Children’s Residential Support Worker to join our children’s home in Sudbury, Suffolk. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people by providing a safe, nurturing environment and tailored support to meet their individual needs. Key Responsibilities: As a Children’s Residential Support Worker in Sudbury, your daily duties will include: * Providing therapeutic care and emotional support to children and young people. * Acting as a positive role model to promote independence and life skills. * Organising and participating in activities such as outings, holidays, and recreational events. * Building trusting relationships to help children overcome challenges and reach their full potential. * Supporting children with their daily routines, including personal care and behaviour management. Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful as a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will need: * A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development, or equivalent. * Experience working with children or young people in a residential, SEN, or mental health setting. * Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS check and a Full UK Driving Licence.
