Would you like a rewarding and flexible role, supporting pupils to excel in the classroom? We are recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work in various schools across Southport and wider areas. The ideal Cover Supervisor will have strong behaviour management experience and an understanding of a variety of subjects taught at the secondary level.
What you'll be doing as a Cover Supervisor:
- Preparing the classroom for lessons and delivering a variety of work prepared by the absent class teacher
- Maintain classroom control
- Engage learners with both classroom and lab-based activities
- Be flexible, think on your feet and show an enthusiasm for a variety of subjects
- Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies
What you'll need to be successful as a Cover Supervisor:
- At least 3 months of experience working with children
- Ideally, be educated to a degree level
- References covering the last two years
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
